A person was shot after delivering furnishings to a house in Belmont on Thursday night.
The sufferer has been recognized as 28-year-old Yuri Moses of Dundonald Hill, St James.
Moses was driving a white Isuzu Dump truck and was accompanied by his uncle Christopher Alexander when the incident occurred.
They’d simply completed a supply after 7pm at a house alongside Carr Road.
On leaving, the duo noticed three masked males in darkish clothes standing on the roadway. They seemed to be armed with weapons.
One of many males allegedly pointed the weapon of their path and a number of other explosions had been heard.
Moses felt a burning sensation in his left shoulder and knee. The assailants then ran off.
His uncle took him to the Port of Spain Basic Hospital (POSGH) the place he was handled and stabilised.
Police had been contacted and recovered eight spent 9mm shells on the scene.
